The Living Room

We actually don't spend much time in the living room. (Especially since we moved the TV to the bedroom.) We do most of our entertaining in the kitchen. The bay window looks out on Diamond Street, and then over downtown. In the upper part of the middle window is the stained glass we had made in England.

This is a close-up of the stained glass. The faint black lines in back of it are utility wires from outside the house.

The closed double doors separate the living room from Susan's office. One of the things we haven't gotten around to doing is actually hanging the pictures - they're hanging off of picture rails, but the heights are all wrong, based on where they were for our house in Cambridge.

The fireplace is vestigial - it's got an ugly gas heater in it, hidden by the dried flowers.

This breakfront is borrowed from our friends, the Kershaws. To the left are sliding double doors to the dining room.
