The Kitchen

This is the antique (American, roughly 1910) kitchen table we bought this fall; it has two leaves and holds eight people comfortably, but wasn't big enough when we had a dozen. The door leads to the laundry room and, through it, to the porch and back yard.

The window with the blinds drawn leads to the laundry room: the laundry room didn't used to be there, and that used to be an external wall.

Stove, counters, refrigerator... what more can I say?

This is the other side of the kitchen. On the right is the pantry, to the left the door leading to the hall and my office. (Sorry this picture came out so crooked.)
