The Good Announcer

A good announcer is thoughtful and considerate. He relates to the minute by minute interest and wants of his audience, and says the right things to be entertaining and helpful. He gives time signals, mentions the weather without making a long speech, and keeps up with weather service bulletin programming as well as with late breaking news and traffic developments. He sounds as though he likes his music, his commercials and his job, and he puts everything together with clever tie ins and a sense of humor.
