Why do I have an accesser listed in my Site Activity Report, but it
does not show what file(es) they accessed?
You may on occasion find your Site Activity Report showing accesses from a particular domain, but show no individual files accessed by that client.. For instance, in the detailed section of the Site Activity Report the list of files accessed by a particular client are listed under the domain of the accesser, like this:
ppp42.humboldt1.com:
WWW 08/16/96 22:33:09 www/(default home page)
WWW 08/16/96 22:33:15 www/rickspg.gif
WWW 08/16/96 22:34:12 www/cooking.html
WWW 08/16/96 22:35:09 www/welcome.html
WWW 08/16/96 22:35:48 www/bluline1.gif
However, if you find that there are no files listed under a particular accesser, such as:
www-f4.proxy.aol.com:
this is an indication that the client only accessed "excluded" files. From the Site Activity Report Configuration form, you can specify certain files in your account which you do not want to be listed on your access reports. If a client accesses only these files, then no files will be listed as being accessed from the domain, as shown above.
