WebCom Domain Name Service (DNS) -- Delete Subdomain

This page describes how to use the Delete Subdomain service option. To access this or any other domain name service, log in to your account by clicking on "Control Panel" at the left of this page, and then select Domain Name Services from the main menu.

Description

This service is used to remove subdomains from your account which you created using the Create Subdomain service option

To delete a domain name, simply check the checkbox next to each domain that you would like to delete and hit the submit button. The service will ask you to confirm the deletions. Once you confirm, the selected subdomains will be deleted. The deleted subdomain will cease to work in about 24 hours.

Additional Notes

If you cancel the parent domain of a subdomain, all of the subdomains will be deleted along with it. You may wish to do this using the Cancel Domain Name service option if you intend to remove all subdomains and the parent domain as well.
