Search Help

The Gun Guy Web site refers only occassionally to specific model names or numbers. There are just far too many. Many military designations, such as AK47, M1, M16, Garand, 1911, etc. appear frequently as these types of firearms were/are produced by several manufacturers. However, "M29" will probably not be located and a search for "S&W" or the phrase "Smith and Wesson" will be more helpful. Also, be careful of your spelling. Searching for "berretta" or "stoger" or "anshutz" (Beretta, Stoeger, and Anschuetz, respectively) will produce poor, if any, results. If you are looking for a specific manufacturer, go to the page where that information can probably be found (i.e., Page 4). If you want to find if any additional information is available at the site, at least you can, now, copy-and-paste the correctly-spelled name. If you try something with a hyphen, i.e., "M-1A" and you find little or no information, try "M1A", without the hyphen. There is a wealth of information at the site. However, you will have to put forth a little effort, sometimes, to find it. Where I have studied the results of failed searches due to minor errors, like spelling, I try to add an alternative spelling a searcher might use contained within brackets ( [xxx] ) near the correctly-spelled entry.

Good luck and thank you for visiting!
