This remains after many decades the most accurate and readable translation of  Pistis Sophia -- major portions of the Books of the Savior (from the Askew codex, commonly titled Pistis Sophia) with excerpts of related literature and valuable commentaries. Pistis Sophia provides our major source on Valentinian Sophiology. The original publication name, Pistis Sophia: A Gnostic Miscellany, is updated in this reissue.

Thrice Greatest Hermes

This is the complete and unabridged edition of Thrice Greatest Hermes, containing translations of extant sermons and fragments of Trismegistic (Hermetic) literature, with Prolegomena, commentaries, and notes. It was first published in three volumes in London in 1906 and remains the best scholarly edition of the Hermetic writings.  It is also widely considered the definitive masterpiece of G. R. S. Mead.

Fragments of a Faith Forgotten: A Contribution to the Study of the Origins of Christianity by G. R. S. Mead 

Mead offers here a superb exposition of virtually all Gnostic materials extant prior to the Nag Hammadi discovery. Though first published over eighty years ago, this study still merits attention. (This is a reprint edition.)
