This is the page returned by the WebCom WWW Server when a visitor to your site enters the default_url:
http://webcom.com/~webcom/[youruserid]/ or http://www.yourcompany.com/

The WWW Server looks in your "www" directory (located in your home directory) for the default home page (a file ususally called "welcome.html"). If a default home page exists, the WWW Server returns it to the user's browser which then displays it.

If no "welcome.html" (or other default home page) file exists, the WWW Server generates a list of the files located in this directory..
