People in retirement communities are already using them for short distance, low-speed commuting. This is an application for which the EVs are ideally suited, without the need for new battery technology, fuel cells, or fast charging.
There is a niche for these vehicles and the more of them we get on the road, the more people there will be who learn about EVs and become comfortable with them.
