CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT NUMBER ONE: Will you please help us establish the onomatopoeia for our electric vehicles? For a very long time, we have been without any onomatopoetically proper determination of this new technology. It's like having an itch that we just can't scratch!
So any one of you folks (kids, moms, dads, daughters, sons, and significant others, even the family dog or cat) can become a part of history by suggesting the best (item) for our electric vehicles. Please submit it to us. We will pick the best one and ... the rest will be history!

As we approach the 21st century, people are in search of more environmentally friendly modes of transportation.

The E-Bike is designed to be virtually maintenance-free and requires no gasoline or oil. It is "fueled" by a 24-volt rechargeable battery system. The E-Bike can reach a maximum speed of 15 mph with a range of 20 miles, further if pedal-assisted. The battery can be plugged into any standard 110-volt household outlet and fully charged in four hours.

Registering Low-Speed-Vehicles, (LSVs) aka Neighborhood Electric Vehicles, (NEVs), Bombardier or similar vehicles and driving them on roads with 40 mph speed limits is now possible.

People in retirement communities are already using them for short distance, low-speed commuting. This is an application for which the EVs are ideally suited, without the need for new battery technology, fuel cells, or fast charging.

There is a niche for these vehicles and the more of them we get on the road, the more people there will be who learn about EVs and become comfortable with them.
