The Story So Far...

The Early Years

The legendary surf-trash combo The Aquamen (inventors of the near-lethal "snorkle-shot") sprang full grown and clad in their trademark aqua blue suits from the forehead of Poseidon over 2000 years ago. Don't be mistaken by their youthful appearance however -- these Gin & Tonic swilling lads have perfected the ancient arts of lechery and hedonistic abandon over the course of their two millenia long career.

Originally based on the Greek Isle of Naxos, The Aquamen began plucking simple odes to the joys of wine, wine, wine, women and song, on such primitive instruments as the 5-string bazouki, the bass-lyre and goatskin drums. Always at the forefront of Technology, the Aquamen adopted steam-powered instruments during the Industrial Revolution and made the great leap to using electric instruments in 1937.
