This 1895 machine was produced by H.W.Egli of Switzerland. It is indeed an incredible item due to it's ability to perform direct multiplication. This means that you could multiply 2 numbers with a single rotation of the handle. Only about 5,000 items were manufactured. It weighs approx. 120 pounds. (Note the brush in the top right corner of the cover, a symbol of Swiss perfection.)
