These 2 items are unique in there size, unusual design and late date of production.
The Alpina was produced in 1961 in Germany. It had a space like design and was the last 4 function mechanical calculator to be designed over a period of 340 years.
The Curta was produced in 1948 in Liechtenstein. It is nicknamed "The Coffee Grinder" due to it's shape and size. This design is unique and requires a 360 rotation of the small handle on top. The numbers were entered by moving the small knobs on the side. The result was displayed on the top of the machine.
