WENT TO THE BOARDWALK...OUT IN THE SUN

WebCom is now officially into field trips! In fact, one fine day in August, we WebComers hit the street--more specifically, we hit the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk! It was an afternoon full of Bumper Cars, Giant Dipper thrills, and the Logger's Revenge--not to mention quite a bit of laughing and screaming. Nothing like a little brush with death to make you appreciate a fine workplace.

in Santa Cruz...

After that, we had to take a solid ground break-- nothing like a little terra firma to prepare you for the next daunting task!

All they wanted was a normal picture of themselves for the family photo album--was that too much to ask?

That IS a GIANT dipped cone! Ohhh wait a minute. When we said, "Giant Dipper thrills," you thought we meant the roller coaster? We were talking about some thrilling dipped cones--oh OK, so there might have been a little action on the ride, too...

THE LOGGER'S REVENGE

The last stop on our WebCom field trip
was the "Logger's Revenge." Revenge
for what? Seems like logs would be
more entitled to revenge than loggers...

Going up?

Did he REALLY keep his hat on the entire time, or was it a trick? You be the judge...

Yeah.
Sure.
Fear.

Coming down (a little wetter than on the way up, but coming down nonetheless).

Must not have been THAT death-defying if he's still sleeping. Of course, some people will sleep through anything.
